After 45 years of practicing pharmacy, I retired and soon started to realize that our health was one the most important things in the world to us.

As we began to move into our senior years, I realized that living a long life is not nearly as important as living a healthy, long life. I remember when our calls to our parents were mostly to hear about who died, who had cancer, who had a stroke or a heart attack. I was lucky that I had little or no health problems, but I could see that it might not continue that way.  We were both overweight and making some unhealthy choices. When my husband, Jack, had to have knee surgery, I decided that I wanted the best vitamins money could buy. I remembered that I had heard about Shaklee in the late 1970’s and had used their products off and on over the years. 

Being a pharmacist and health-conscious person, I always lean toward science, education, and environmentally safe products. We started taking Shaklee vitamins before Jack’s first surgery in 2014. After that I went back to what I had learned in the 70’s about non-toxic, biodegradable cleaning products. Next I put away soap and started using Shaklee Youth beauty products.

By 2015 my friend recommended that I become a distributor for Shaklee. We don’t distribute Shaklee products like they did in the early days of Shaklee.  Now we are ambassadors for the online Shaklee company and we know that Shaklee has longevity, quality and science backed products.

This is one of the reasons this site was created. I wanted to help others navigate the Internet jungle and share what I've learned about creating a lifestyle of personal freedom as an online entrepreneur.

I'm also looking to connect and work with like-minded people. And with the ever present financial crisis, I feel that what I have to share is more important than ever.
